Our firm provided legal advisory services regarding the ownership of intellectual property rights and related matters in international collaborative research on energy based on the international charters, agreements, and policy statements adopted by the government. We analyzed the relationships among the above documents to determine the permissible scope of use for research data provided by foreign research institutions and its ownership and shareability to third parties. Based on the analysis, we also provided a data classification checklist to assist the research institute’s own classification and drafted license agreements for third-party utilization.
